A young farmer guides you on a walking trip and demonstrates all the stages of mastic tree cultivation in a real mastic grove.

During the demonstration you are encouraged to try using the traditional tools and techniques involved in the extraction and harvest of the precious mastic resin from the tree.

The programme includes a picnic of delicious local foods and wine under the shade of the mastic treess. Depending on season there may be surprises such as picking tomatoes and other vegetables.
